Central Midlands Partners Host Fourth Annual Lawn Mower Exchange

Richland County, Lexington County, the City of Columbia, USC, SC DHEC and Keep the Midlands Beautiful have teamed up to host the fourth annual Central Midlands Lawn Mower Exchange on Saturday, April 10th from 9:00 am to noon at the Colonial Life Arena Parking Lot (Corner of Greene St and Lincoln St).

Residents of Richland and Lexington Counties are invited to "Mow Down Pollution" by trading in a gasoline-powered lawn mower in exchange for a deep discount on the purchase of an environmentally friendly, cordless electric mower from Neuton and help promote cleaner air in the Midlands.

The first 115 residents to trade in a working gasoline-powered mower on the day of the event will be able to purchase their choice of the following:

  • 14" Neuton Electric Mower - $150 (plus tax), a savings of $249 off MSRP!
  • 19" Neuton Electric Mower - $250 (plus tax), a savings of $249 off MSRP!
  • Reel Mower - $50 (plus tax), a savings of $49 off MSRP!

Once all 115 mowers have been claimed, residents may obtain a coupon to purchase a Neuton mower directly from the vendor for $274 (14”), $374 (19”) or $89 (Reel).

Residents without a trade may also purchase a Neuton mower for the same discounted price of $274 and $374.

Neuton also offers a new line of Hand Tools that may be purchased for a discounted price ranging from $79 - $139. Hand tools include: String Trimmer, Blower, Chainsaw, Hedge Trimmer and Pole Pruner.
